Membership

The icmb is an active institute with ambitious researchers who conduct internationally recognized research and are committed to the imparting of knowledge. As a small subunit (with only one professorship) the funds provided by the university are of a relatively limited nature. The fkmb therefore supports the icmb in its work and contributes to strengthening it for the future.

The membership fees enable important financial support for:

• Research and teaching:
  e.g. exchange with international guest speakers in colloquia, lectures or research cooperations.
• Promotion of young researchers:
  e.g. Start-up funding for own research projects of assistants and postdocs
• Co-financing of the library

Annual membership fees:

• Collective member: CHF 850
• Single member: CHF 60
