From September 3 to 5, the ICMB team went on retreat in Brienz. These days offered the opportunity to spend intensive time together in an unfamiliar setting. New research projects were presented and progress on ongoing work was shared. At the same time, the special setting fostered a new dynamic of exchange, from which many good ideas emerged – not only during the planned discussions and presentations, but also while cooking and eating together or on the way up to the Rothorn. The retreat also provided a chance to get to know the team on a more personal level and, in particular, to welcome and connect with the new members.
