In cooperation with the Institute of Sociology, the Institute of Communication and Media Studies offers a Research Master's degree in Sociology and Communication. The Master program focuses on the analysis of social inequalities, social change, as well as the role of (social) media and political communication in contemporary societies. It combines sociological and communication theory with advanced quantitative research methods and prepares students for research-oriented careers and doctoral studies.
